Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Participates in the patient/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, and skills under the direction of an RN. Provides support to ensure both the psychiatric and physical care of the patients are met. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Provide adjunct patient care
• Monitor food intake
• Monitor vital signs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

- BLS (AHA) - HS Diploma or equivalent - Completion of a certification course for Nursing Assistants - 1 year of experience in psychiatric or mental health facility - CPI, MAB, or equivalent

Shift:

5 x 8 PM/Nights- 1500-2330 or 2300-0730 alternating shifts every other weekend required, no on-call required. Compensation: $24.00 per hour Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certified by the State of New Jersey and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified from National Minority Supplier Development Council.
