Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Websteridence, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions within the comfort of their homes.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes meticulously, using established metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Reassess and reestablish therapeutic goals, evolving treatment plans as patient needs change.
• Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and the correct usage of assistive devices to encourage independence in daily activities.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with caregivers and other health team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy by attending workshops and maintaining active membership in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of various ages and diagnoses, each requiring tailored therapeutic interventions. You will primarily work with those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and developmental disorders. By providing therapy directly in patients' homes, you are uniquely positioned to observe their living environment and tailor interventions that promote functional independence in daily tasks.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation, treatment planning, and communication within the team.
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing situations and patient needs in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience

While two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we encourage recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment to apply.
