Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Craft customized treatment plans tailored to address the immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs of your patients.
• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work synergistically with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to design well-rounded care strategies.
• Provide educational resources for both patients and families to support their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions when needed, ensuring a consistent care experience throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards at the state, federal, and organizational levels.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and advancements in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are yet to receive ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
