We're looking for an experienced facilities professional who can take on complex maintenance challenges, keep critical building systems running reliably, and help strengthen the overall maintenance operation. Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician at NCFL, you'll:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, lighting, building automation, and carpentry systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including standby generators up to 48 kW
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential problems
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and facility-related incidents
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, walls, windows, mechanical equipment, and other building components
• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules
• Maintain accurate work orders, inspection records, maintenance documentation, and equipment histories using a CMMS
• Assist with planning facility improvements, equipment replacements, installations, and capital projects
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and service vendors to ensure quality work and compliance with NCFL standards
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, fire safety codes, and company policies
• Support emergency preparedness activities and participate in after-hours emergency response when needed
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians, particularly on complex repairs
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and spare parts
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost savings
• Participate in facility shutdowns, equipment installations, and commissioning activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Provide after-hours emergency response and remain available 24/7 when an emergency requires immediate attention

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school certification or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, HVAC, Mechanical Systems, or a related field preferred
• 8-10 years of residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or institutional facilities maintenance experience
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, pneumatics and hydraulics, and building automation systems
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with vendors, technicians, managers, and other staff
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• Microsoft Visio experience is a plus
• Ability to work a 50-hour-per-week schedule
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies and provide 24/7 emergency response when circumstances require
