Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as core methodologies in your practice.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in integrated care by working closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Prevail Counseling Center, you will work primarily with individuals and families suffering from mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will involve offering support to diverse clientele, including marginalized groups like the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, who often face multiple layers of trauma and challenges. Your clinical expertise will contribute to their journey towards healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
