Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and mental health screenings to identify clients' issues, challenges, and treatment needs.

• Develop personalized therapy plans addressing each client’s specific concerns, goals, and preferences through evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate individual therapy and group sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support client growth and healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client care.

• Support clients' families through psychoeducation, helping them understand mental health challenges and the healing process.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies for effective client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you may work with vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your interventions will aim to empower these individuals and foster resilience, guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms and life choices.

Qualifications\n

• Valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
