How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

Lead daily operations as Nurse Manager, coordinating nursing staff, workflow, and resources to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient unit performance.

Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate licensed nursing staff, strengthening interdisciplinary team collaboration and supporting professional development that improves direct patient care outcomes.

Identify and resolve barriers affecting patient care delivery, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality improvement standards and efficient care coordination across the nursing unit.

Monitor departmental budgets, approve expenditures, and manage staffing resources to maintain operational efficiency while supporting safe patient care and high-performing Nurse Manager leadership standards.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience required.
• 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• 3 years + Managerial experience in Preop/Postop
