Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania Hematology/Oncology Opportunity

Clinical Role

• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Contract through March 8, 2027, with option to extend
• Hematology/Oncology coverage in a new community-based practice
• 4 days per week may be considered
• Adult patients only, ages 18+
• Approximately 10 patients per day with anticipated growth
• Outpatient clinic with inpatient consult responsibilities as needed

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
• Call: Weeknight and weekend call, 1:2 rotation
• Patient Mix: Approximately 40% Hematology / 60% Oncology
• Responsibilities: General community Hematology/Oncology care with inpatient hospital consults as needed
• Setting: Clinic/Hospital
• Support Staff: 2 front office staff, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 Navigator, and additional support personnel
• One full-time employed physician currently on staff
• Hospital Size: 131 beds
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required at presentation
• DEA required
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
