Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) This position involves providing clinical services within an outpatient ambulatory care setting, primarily focusing on medical-surgical responsibilities. The RN will collaborate with providers and clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care, maintain documentation, manage medication supplies, and support clinic operations in a fast-paced environment located in a community outpatient clinic.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Clinic open 7 days, 8am-8pm. 40 hours scheduled across the week.
• Required Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state; active Alaska license at time of submittal; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of emergency care experience (ER, Urgent Care, flight nurse); knowledge of nursing process, customer service principles, safety and infection control principles; skills in assessments, specimen collection, use of computers and medical equipment; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to multi-task, work independently, be a team player, teach, problem-solve, and use critical thinking; flexibility to adapt to changing situations.

• Additional Information: The position requires maintaining skills, annual competencies, certifications, participating in in-services and educational programs, and adhering to infection control policies.
