Position Summary

Swoon is partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Business Consultant supporting a senior technology leadership team within Enterprise Engineering. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, operations, and executive communications. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to engineering leadership, helping drive key initiatives related to cloud transformation, AI, infrastructure modernization, technology operations, and merger and acquisition activities.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst position. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused messaging for senior leadership audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with technology executives and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
Develop executive-level presentations, leadership communications, reports, and briefing materials
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
Translate complex technical concepts into concise business-focused messaging
Support engineering governance, planning, budgeting, reporting, and operational initiatives
Create presentations and communications related to cloud, AI, infrastructure, engineering, and technology transformation efforts
Analyze data and reporting metrics to support leadership decision-making
Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive deliverables and project outcomes
Support merger and acquisition technology integration activities and strategic initiatives
Track action items, risks, dependencies, executive requests, and follow-up activities
Research emerging technologies and industry trends to support leadership recommendations and presentations
Assist with executive reporting and operational process improvements
