Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and document each case meticulously, tracking the client's journey from the initial consultation to the end of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to understand their individual challenges and needs.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment and intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, incorporating evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using various therapeutic techniques to foster effective communication and healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health specialists, medical professionals, and caregivers to formulate comprehensive intervention strategies.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients admitted to the hospital to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our licensed mental health counselors serve a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking support for various mental health issues. You will address conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties, adopting an empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to ensure that all clients feel safe and heard.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure in the state of Nevada as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure effective case management and documentation.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent interpersonal abilities to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.

• An understanding of the latest trends and best practices in mental health counseling as recognized by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous professional experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient or community health setting.

• Experience in addressing underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• A working knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their effects on mental health.
\n
• Demonstrated capacity to engage clients effectively and build rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus may be available.
