Business Analyst

About the Company Astral is the leading wholesale distributor and retail consultant for boutique fitness studios. Our showroom, located in downtown Lexington, has serviced over 1,000 boutique fitness studios nationwide. About the Role The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing product performance within assigned accounts as it relates to information consolidation, product performance analysis, and trend reporting, and providing support to the Astral sales team and other key leaders/stakeholders to grow the business and achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities Collaborate with internal account managers and the customer when necessary to deliver data-driven strategies that offer key business insights, optimize retail sales performance, and support operational excellence. Provide initiative-taking, ongoing, and solution-oriented data analysis of business processes while maintaining updates in a central location. Utilize Microsoft Excel /Google Sheets including advanced functions (such as pivot tables & relational datasets) and Power BI / SQL in querying and analyzing large datasets. Offer analytical feedback with suggested solutions in all line-of-sight areas including trends and variances. Clearly and concisely articulate to relevant stakeholders (onsite and remote). Be on site point of contact for IT service providers. All other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Four-year bachelor’s degree and/or other specialized certification and/or relevant work experience in the field of data, analytics, etc. Required Skills Demonstrated highly proficient skills in all Office/other platforms: PPT, Word, Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI / SQL. Aptitude to learn platforms such as Shopify, SFDC, Club Ready, E-commerce sites and accounting systems. Demonstrated success utilizing interpersonal, written, and electronic communications across the organization (in person and with remote leadership). Maintain a flexible work schedule daily to meet time-sensitive deadlines while always displaying business initiative and thoroughness. Preferred Skills Experience using Salesforce.com and/or Shopify. Ability to travel when necessary to meet the needs of the business. Proficiency in IT to provide onsite support. Lift up to 15-40 lbs. consistently and repeatedly along with bending and twisting.
