Job Summary Provides didactic and/or laboratory instruction to groups of medical imaging students according to regulatory and accreditation standards and guidelines. Fosters excellent student experiences by aligning educational interactions with our core values. Job Duties Participates in curriculum development and the review and maintenance of course objectives and syllabi. Prepares medical imaging content by utilizing a variety of teaching strategies to deliver the course content. Engages in assessing student learning and advising students. Demonstrates expertise and knowledge of the course content. Actively engages students through frequent interaction and conveys a genuine enthusiasm for their learning. Provides thorough and constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics to effectively assess learners’ work, while also acknowledging learner accomplishments. Effectively prepares medical imaging students for licensure examinations. Continues professional development in scholarship, teaching, and continuing education. Position Details In lieu of bachelor’s degree, 5 years of relevant experience plus an associate’s degree will be considered equivalent to a bachelor’s degree. In lieu of an associate's degree, 8 years of relevant experience plus a certificate from a specialty training program - radiology technology - will be considered equivalent to an associate’s degree. RVT RDCS Education Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required), Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred). Experience Minimum of 1 year Education (Required). Minimum of 5 years related work experience (Preferred). Licenses Certified Radiology Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Registered Vascular Technologist – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
