Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Hematology, Medical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Gynecologic & Surgical Oncology populations
• Care for patients in a 7-bed positive pressure wing designated for BMT and acute leukemia patients
• Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
• Administer medications using barcode medication administration and Epic-integrated Alaris IV pumps
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with every-other-weekend coverage requirements
• Float to other units as required and participate in emergency response team assignments as directed by unit management

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology or related specialty
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (address on driver's license used for verification)
• NURSYS report required and must be current within 4 weeks of submission date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience welcome; first-time travelers encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with Alaris feeding pumps and SCD machines
