Director, Material Operations

Here you’ll take full ownership of material operations from day one, shaping strategy with your ideas and expertise. You’ll lead a high-performing team across technical purchasing, repairs, supply chain analytics and more, driving performance and innovation across every function. You’ll influence every part of the material lifecycle, from inventory planning and forecasting, to repair management and tooling support. You’ll develop and monitor key metrics, track budget performance, and ensure the highest standards in parts service levels across the business. With direct impact on aircraft components and tooling inventories, you’ll work closely with OEMs and approved repair agencies to optimize cost, quality, and turnaround times. Your decisions will shape the efficiency and readiness of the entire fleet. As the business grows, so will your leadership scope. You’ll be at the center of building a modern, high-performance supply chain, with clear progression opportunities as new challenges and projects emerge. What you’ll do: You’ll lead the development and execution of material strategies, ensuring fast, cost-effective support for aircraft maintenance and operations. Your focus will include: Driving improvements in material acquisition, distribution, and repair processes. Managing relationships with OEMs and external repair providers to secure quality, pricing, and delivery. Supporting aircraft modifications and maintenance with parts, tooling, and material planning. Overseeing stock allocations, inventory tracking, and financial reconciliation. Leading technology upgrades to streamline and enhance material management. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or Supply Chain; MBA preferred. At least 5 years of supply chain experience with an 121/135 air carrier or part 145 repair station, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience with PBH program development and airline startup experience are preferred, along with an Airframe and Powerplant certificate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
