Sr. Project Manager - ATS Implementation

Title: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (ATS Implementation) Compensation: $65 - $75/hour W2, flexible DOE Type: Contract (4–5 months, potential for extension) Location: Remote (PST hours required) Eligibility: Must be a US Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder) Industry: Defense Technology Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end replacement and implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System. Partner with internal stakeholders and the selected ATS vendor to define business and technical requirements. Develop and manage the project plan, timeline, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate system configuration activities with the vendor and ensure alignment with recruiting workflows. Oversee testing phases, including system validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Facilitate stakeholder meetings, provide project status updates, and ensure alignment across functional teams. Support change enablement efforts, including communication planning and end‑user readiness. Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to recruiters and other system users. Ensure successful transition and adoption of the new ATS platform. Qualifications Proven experience leading ATS implementation projects from selection through go‑live. Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, workflows, and recruiting operations. Experience working with leading ATS platforms (Greenhouse experience preferred; familiarity with other enterprise ATS tools such as SmartRecruiters or similar platforms is beneficial). Demonstrated ability to manage third‑party vendors and cross‑functional stakeholders. Experience supporting UAT coordination and structured testing efforts. Background in change management, end‑user communications, and training delivery is highly preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
