This role invites both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) who are passionate about pediatric care and committed to helping young learners thrive.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Either ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong interest or experience in pediatrics and school-based settings
- Exceptional communication skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to intervention and support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups within the school setting
- Complete comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other multidisciplinary professionals to support each student’s academic and social success
- Provide intervention services individually and in group settings, adapting strategies to meet varying needs
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to remain current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy
