Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Speech Language Pathology services are needed for telespeech and teletherapy delivery within a school district based in Rockville, MD. This full-time contract assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, providing approximately 35 hours per week of service in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Responsibilities include delivering virtual speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and peak school year caseloads. Caseloads may range from 40 students in elementary grades up to 57 students at peak times. Assignment of specific caseloads will be matched to individual skills and location preferences by the supervisor. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of post-COVID virtual school-based experience, with at least two of those years within the last five years.
Qualifications and required credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active Maryland SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Minimum three years of virtual school-based experience, including two years recent post-COVID
- Ability to maintain schedules aligned with 35 hours per week on the Eastern Standard Time zone
- Completion of state-mandated background checks and credentialing processes
