Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telepractice services, located in Silver Spring, MD. The assignment spans the full academic year from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, requiring 35 hours per week with no part-time options. This role serves school-aged children within a virtual school-based setting in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Responsibilities include providing teletherapy services to students across various grade levels, with caseloads varying by age group—elementary up to 40 students, middle school around 48, and peak caseloads reaching up to 57 students. Assignments are tailored based on individual skillsets and geographic location to maximize effectiveness and support.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active Maryland SLP licensure
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech-language pathology experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the past five years
- Capacity to work 35 hours weekly within the EST zone
- Familiarity with telespeech/teletherapy platforms and protocols
- Ability to undergo and pass background checks and credential verification processes

- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to scheduled hours
