This role will be pivotal in driving a positive workplace culture through effective employee relations and leading our full-cycle recruitment processes. The HR Manager will also assist with employee experience initiatives and talent management programs to help attract, develop, and retain top talent within our organization.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.Manage and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.Conduct thorough investigations of employee complaints and maintain documentation in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and respect among all employees.Advise leadership on employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions.Lead the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and job offers.Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.Create and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.Implement innovative sourcing methods to attract diverse and highly qualified candidates.Oversee onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a seamless integration into the company.Support the design and execution of initiatives that enhance overall employee engagement and satisfaction.Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback mechanisms.Help identify high-potential employees and coordinate development and retention plans.Participate in succession planning and support leadership development programs.Contribute to the improvement of HR programs, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall employee experience.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.Collaborate with HR team members to execute HR projects and programs as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.3+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated emphasis on employee relations and recruiting.Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, and talent acquisition strategies.Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.Proven ability to build relationships and earn trust across all levels of the organization.Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).Proficiency with Workday systems and MS Office Suite.Starr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
