Accounts Payable Clerk

Role Overview The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the accounting function in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves day‑to‑day processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, and collaborating with Accounting, Supply Chain, and cross‑functional stakeholders to support month‑end close activities and maintain vendor relationships. Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices, performing proper coding, contract and purchase order review, approvals, and adherence to company procedures. Assist month‑end close by accurately coding invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies. Maintain vendor records, facilitate communication, and proactively resolve issues. Partner with Supply Chain Shipping & Receiving and FP&A to ensure accurate three‑way match, goods receipt, and timely payments. Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities, automation, cost reduction, and best practices. Collaborate with the broader accounting team on month‑end close, external audits, and ad‑hoc projects. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Requirements Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Ramp). Prior Accounts Payable experience.
