This is a permanent position within a manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Processing purchase orders and verifying their conformity with invoices and contracts. Preparing and executing payment orders in accordance with company policies. Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records. Resolving purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payment discrepancies and documentation. Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos. Issuing stop‑payments or purchase order amendments. Maintaining confidentiality of organizational information. Assisting in month‑end closing and audits as needed. Collaborating with the procurement team and other departments to improve and streamline processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Solid understanding and experience with purchase orders. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures would be considered an asset.
