Business Development Specialist

Business Development Specialist Position Overview The Business Development Specialist plays a critical role in extending the company’s presence in new verticals, leveraging the creation of commercial and product solutions targeting this new customer set. The Specialist will be focused on a geographical and/or enterprise sector new to the company and will be expected to identify, develop and close new deals in the target segments and geographical areas. Key Responsibilities Identification, development and execution of commercial agreements in new verticals: understand segment needs and adapt Speedcast Product suite accordingly, in coordination with the relevant internal teams, to create value‑added commercial and product solutions. Follow up on any leads within assigned vertical and generate leads outside of existing campaigns. Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities. Negotiate and execute agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures and in consultation with Legal, Finance, Product and BD leadership. Close deals to meet assigned revenue targets. Required Qualifications Ability to successfully position and sell the full suite of communication services to enterprise clients. Innovative, creative problem solver with a positive can‑do attitude. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise workload and manage multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style for the recipient. Proven team player. Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of successful experience in enterprise sales or business development. Proven track record of closing new business. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree. Demonstrated experience with advanced communication services including SD‑WAN, edge computing and cybersecurity solutions. Experience working with global teams.
