As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will support a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and packages, documenting security-related activity, and communicating professionally with team members and visitors. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Monitor access points, employee entrances, and designated screening areas; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals as needed. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents in required reports. Minimum Requirements Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
