ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Title: Accounting Clerk Job Type: (Remote) Dayton Roger's Contract is a leading contracting company in Dayton, OH. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to handle a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements Prepare and distribute invoices Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Maintain accurate and organized financial records Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are within budget Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements Prepare and submit tax forms and other government filings Provide support to the accounting team as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles Experience with payroll processing and tax filings is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Friendly and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
