Located at a specialized center serving elementary through high school students, this full-time, contract assignment is perfect for educators with expertise in managing high behaviors and supporting individuals with severe disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Previous experience with Setting 4 populations or students exhibiting the highest needs is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction and behavioral interventions to a diverse caseload in a Setting 4 program
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, tracking student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
• Provide clear, compassionate communication with families, keeping them informed and engaged
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom atmosphere
