Make a significant impact by supporting students with the most severe disabilities and behavioral needs as a Special Education Teacher at an innovative educational center. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year and offers the chance to work in a highly collaborative, specialized environment serving elementary through high school students.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction tailored to Setting 4 caseloads – meeting the needs of students with the highest levels of behavioral challenges and complex disabilities. Your dedication and expertise will help drive student achievement in a nurturing, structured environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
• Demonstrated experience working with students with severe disabilities and significant behavioral needs
• Strong skills in classroom management and behavioral intervention
• Ability to design and implement custom IEPs to address diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized instruction to students across elementary, middle, and high school grades
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with parents, specialists, and administrators
• Utilize data-driven approaches for progress monitoring and reporting
• Implement evidence-based strategies for behavior management and de-escalation
• Maintain consistent communication with families and team members
