Founded by Cat Lyon—a designer whose passion and expertise have taken her from Brazil to international projects—the firm blends creativity with functionality to create inspiring spaces. We are now seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations as we continue to grow. Position Overview: As our Accountant, you will manage day-to-day financial activities, maintain accurate records, and provide insightful financial analysis. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations remain financially sound while supporting the creative work that defines Lyon Interior Design. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. Reporting & Analysis: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic decision‑making. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary filings. Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits. Administrative Support: Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. Assist with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within a small business or creative environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
