A rewarding opportunity is now available for a part-time Physical Therapist interested in supporting school-aged children near Schaumburg, IL. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with PT interventions and documentation for pediatric populations
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and changing caseload needs
- Willingness to commit to a short-term role for the fall semester, with possible extension into spring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group physical therapy services according to students’ IEPs
- Conduct appropriate assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, other therapists, and families to support student progress
- Document services and maintain detailed records in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
Position Details:
- Work either 2 or 3 days per week, with flexible scheduling options available
- Primarily serve elementary school students within a supportive school community
- Contract is for the fall semester with potential to extend into the spring
