Support students’ growth and independence in a dynamic educational environment as a skilled Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity is based near Des Plaines, IL, with full-time hours spanning multiple school sites within a reputable district. The role begins August 27, 2026, and extends through June 9, 2027—perfect for practitioners who enjoy collaborating across a range of campuses and working with students from Pre-K through age 22.
Qualifications:
• Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Current educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Completion of fingerprinting required prior to start
• Comfortable working itinerantly across elementary, middle, and high school sites
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
• Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, focusing on enhancing school participation and independence
• Travel between assigned school sites within the district, adapting to varied daily schedules
• Evaluate students, develop and implement individualized intervention plans, and participate in multi-disciplinary IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to carry out therapy goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and meet compliance standards
