Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Illinois
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is a plus, but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on unique needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to inform IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student growth
- Document student progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with best practices for school-based therapy
