Overview
ER Registered Nurse position in Hanford, California. Start date: 08/24/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,822 to $1,927, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM). Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and provide education to patients and families.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate appropriately and ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced ER.
- Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care and support for patients and families; respond to emergencies with timely, evidence-based interventions.

Requirements
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice (California)
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field; acute/ER experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA/ARC acceptable)
- NRP certification required
- BSN degree preferred; ADN considered with strong ER experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume ER environment and meet assignment specifics (6:30 AM–7:00 PM shift, 12-hour days)
