Overview
Registered Nurse - ER in Hanford, CA. This travel assignment starts 08/24/2026 for 8 weeks in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,351 to $2,450, with 48 hours guaranteed per week. Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (12.5-hour shifts), 3x12-hour days. Travel/temporary assignment designed for experienced ER nursing teams requiring strong coordination with multidisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for a patient population or assigned group, following established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, identify care issues, and develop/implement plans to achieve outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and adjust plans as needed under clinical judgment.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and safe, healing environment practices.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care and to support EPIC/Cerner documentation as required.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California) or eligible per state requirements
- Minimum two years of recent experience in ER or acute care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS from an approved vendor per policy required
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required; PALS (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required
- BSN preferred
- EPIC and Cerner experience preferred for backfill assignments; ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment
