Work Environment: 2 days on-site, 3 Days WFH Term: Permanent / Fulltime Bachelor's degree required: No Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired Job Description A mid‑sized law firm is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing across multiple locations. This role handles day‑to‑day payroll administration, compliance tasks, and coordination with HR and Finance. Responsibilities Process regular payroll cycles and maintain accurate employee data. Ensure compliance with federal and multi‑state payroll regulations. Serve as a point of contact for payroll questions and issue resolution. Review timekeeping, pay schedules, and onboarding‑related payroll details. Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations. Process benefit‑related deductions and contributions. Support system updates, process improvements, and payroll‑related projects. Maintain payroll documentation and ensure confidentiality. Qualifications 5 years of payroll experience. Strong understanding of multi‑state payroll requirements. Experience in a professional services environment preferred. Proficiency with payroll systems and strong Excel skills.
