We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support logistics operations in Syosset, New York. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining accurate shipment and warehouse-related records, processing high-volume information with precision, and supporting daily coordination with on-site teams. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities:
• Enter freight, shipment, and operational records into logistics and database systems with a high degree of accuracy
• Organize and prepare source documents by reviewing, sorting, and validating information before inputting it into electronic files
• Update spreadsheets and digital records in Microsoft Excel to keep logistics data current and easy to track
• Examine entered information for missing details, inconsistencies, or formatting issues and make corrections as needed
• Communicate regularly with local warehouse leadership to confirm data, resolve discrepancies, and support daily operations
• Maintain logs of newly entered and revised records to ensure proper documentation and traceability
• Handle paper-based and electronic information with discretion while following confidentiality expectations
• Assist the broader team with related clerical and logistics support tasks as business needs require• Prior experience in data entry, clerical support, or logistics administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence working with electronic data files and databases
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and correct inaccurate information
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with warehouse personnel and internal teams
• Ability to manage paper and digital records in an organized and efficient manner
• Comfortable working on-site in a structured Monday through Friday schedule
• Dependable work habits and the ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
