Customer Service Representative - Financial Services

About the Opportunity A leading Financial Services organization in Minneapolis is seeking *Customer Service Representatives* to support Financial Advisors and Financial Professionals across the country. This is a *12-month contract opportunity* with strong potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and overall contribution to the team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and building a long-term career in financial services. Key Responsibilities

• Handle approximately *60-70 inbound calls per day* from Financial Professionals seeking guidance on company policies and procedures.
• Research policy information and provide accurate, timely support regarding:
• Annuity products
• Life insurance products
• Policyholder benefits
• Claims processing
• Assist users with account registration and website navigation.
• Communicate policy guidelines clearly and professionally.
• Follow up with Financial Professionals as needed to ensure issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation and provide exceptional customer service on every interaction.
• Support service level agreements (SLAs) by delivering efficient and accurate customer support.

Training & Development The organization offers a comprehensive training program designed to set employees up for long-term success: Training Schedule

• 6 weeks of classroom training
• 3 months of phone-based training
• 3-month Capstone period featuring continued coaching and support
• Important:* Attendance during training is critical. Time off is only permitted for pre-approved, planned absences.

• Efficiency and productivity

• Attendance and punctuality

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of *2 years of customer service experience* in a professional environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

* Internet speeds of at least:

• 50 Mbps download
• 10 Mbps upload

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous call center experience
• Insurance, pension plan, benefits, or financial services knowledge
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Experience supporting customers in a professional services environment

Schedule & Work Environment Training Hours * Monday-Friday

Regular Operating Hours

• *Shift start times are staggered throughout the day.*

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
