Service Advisor

In Cabrera Auto, we are looking for a Service Advisor with a passion for sales, excellent customer service, and knowledge in vehicle service and maintenance. We are looking for a results-oriented person, with the ability to identify customer needs and convert them into service and sales opportunities.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Receive and attend to the customer in a professional manner, promoting the sale of additional services and maintenance necessary for their unit. Keep the customer adequately informed of the progress of their unit.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Receive customers, obtain and/or update the information in the system provided by the company, whether it is personal information of the client, name, postal address, emails, telephones, and license plate. 2. Recommend maintenance required by the manufacturer, complying with the sales standards established by the company. 3. Perform inspection of the vehicle's condition before entering the workshop. Take internal and external photos of the vehicle. 4. Request the pertinent signatures of the repair order (RO) when receiving the unit. 5. Write clear and precise repair complaints in the repair order (RO) for the technician. 6. Provide the estimate of parts and labor based on the additional services recommended by the technician found in the inspection. The estimate is presented to the customer in person, by phone, or email. 7. Be aware of the repair status of the units under your charge. 8. Communicate with the customer when the work is finished and discuss the repair order with them. 9. Coordinate with the manufacturer and/or extended warranty companies to obtain repair approval and take the necessary precautions to guarantee payment. 10. Keep up to date with the training required by the manufacturer and our products (offered by F&I). 11. Never lose sight of the quality of service and good customer treatment, to meet the monthly customer service goals (CSI). 12. In the event that the customer returns (comeback), check the vehicle history to ensure that the dispatcher assigns it to the indicated technician. 13. Other tasks related to the department may be assigned by the Department Manager 14. Availability to work weekends according to business needs.

REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGE, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS, SUPERVISION 1. Associate's Degree/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience. At least two (2) years of previous experience in customer service. 2. Excellent communication skills and presence in front of the customer. 3. Knowledge in CDK and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or any other program required by the department. 4. Valid driver's license (PR/US) 5. Ability to work with mathematical concepts, basic foundations. 6. Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English. 7. This position does not require supervising other employees. 8. Reports directly to the Service Manager

WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires mostly standing and walking around the work area, reaching documents, speaking and listening, within a shared area with other representatives of the Services department. The work is performed outdoors, at variable temperatures, with natural lighting. The noise level is moderate as there are vehicles in motion and close to the Service Workshop. The employee must be willing to walk long distances for the daily arrangement of all vehicles assigned to them, if necessary.
