Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with fellow therapists, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals. Our clinic features an open layout, fostering communication and teamwork among staff members. Additionally, we utilize an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that simplifies documentation, enhances communication, and allows us to maintain accurate patient records efficiently. Expect a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while accommodating your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assess the physical condition of new patients to develop effective treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Administer therapy sessions, treating 1–2 patients per hour, utilizing various modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Utilize our EMR system to maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient interactions to ensure continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele includes individuals of all ages, ranging from athletes looking to return to peak performance to older adults working to regain mobility and independence. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their rehabilitation journeys through comprehensive care and support.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient engagement and education.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and approaches to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding less experienced staff or interns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
