Carry On Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Los Gatos, California. Work Environment

Our clinic is located in Los Gatos, California, a beautiful and vibrant community known for its scenic views and active lifestyle. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured work week that allows for a healthy work-life balance. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapy assistants and administrative staff, to create a cohesive treatment environment focused on patient progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed movement assessments for patients, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to accurately evaluate their physical capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address specific needs and rehabilitation goals, adapting the treatment approaches based on each patient's response and progress.
• Manage a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, providing focused and attentive care while maintaining thorough documentation of treatment sessions and outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, making necessary modifications to treatment strategies to optimize recovery and improve mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications that support long-term health and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographics reflect a broad spectrum of activity levels and backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise to help each individual achieve their personalized recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; additional certifications such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to tailor treatment strategies effectively based on clinical assessments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey complex information to patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient patient documentation and scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits
