Work Environment

This physical therapist position is located onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation facility in Cupertino, known for its supportive and professional culture. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by assessing patient needs and developing customized therapy plans that address specific goals.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrical stimulation, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and make required adjustments to therapy plans based on observable improvements or setbacks in function.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in WebPT, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating harmonious communication with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home exercises, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic techniques to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to strategize on patient care and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role will be on a diverse outpatient population, primarily comprised of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You'll engage with patients of all ages, working closely with those looking to regain strength and function to return to their daily activities or athletic pursuits. Understanding each patient's unique background and therapeutic needs is essential to providing effective care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. An advanced degree, such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, is strongly preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible for an active California State Physical Therapy license.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a deep commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
• Ability to foster rapport with patients, demonstrating a proactive and engaging approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates with at least two years of full-time experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Experience with trauma cases and familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques such as dry needling or sports rehabilitation will enhance your candidacy. Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
