Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere designed to promote healing and community among both staff and patients. As an onsite physical therapist, your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The center is well-equipped with modern therapeutic equipment, treatment rooms, and a patient-friendly layout that encourages participation and engagement in the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement evaluations to assess patient needs and progress towards mobility goals.
• Create and implement individualized therapy programs that cater to the specific conditions of each patient, including post-surgical recovery and chronic pain management.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and instruction on home exercise programs and self-care techniques, empowering patients to maintain their mobility post-treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and fitness trainers, to enhance the comprehensive care approach.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques tailored to address musculoskeletal injuries and enhance patient healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, creating personalized treatment plans that accommodate unique patient challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California or the ability to secure one prior to starting.
• Solid understanding of rehabilitative practices in the orthopedic domain.
• Proven ability to develop rapport and trust with patients to ensure effective treatment and positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy environment, particularly within outpatient orthopedic settings, is preferred.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMRs) for documentation and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
