Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers a nurturing and supportive environment, equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and spacious treatment rooms. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, fostering collaboration and comprehensive care. This onsite position operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions to determine the appropriate treatment strategy.
• Implement personalized treatment programs focusing on mobility enhancement, strength building, and pain management.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress using WebPT software, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, home care instructions, and lifestyle modifications to support their recovery process.
• Mentor and support junior staff and interns, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and functionality. Your hands-on approach will not only assist them in regaining strength and movement but also provide psychological support, helping to alleviate anxiety related to their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in California, or eligibility to obtained one.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, enhancing your ability to connect with patients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to create and implement effective treatment strategies based on clinical evaluation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically using WebPT, is an asset.
• A strong background in evidence-based practices and a willingness to engage in professional development and continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
