We are seeking a passionate and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Pro Movement Physical Therapy Services, located in the vibrant city of San Jose, California. Pro Movement Physical Therapy Services is a leading provider of rehabilitative care, situated within a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our center specializes in delivering high-quality orthopedic outpatient therapy, focusing on the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation of physical impairments. Our team consists of two innovative physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all committed to providing personalized care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which is strategically designed to create a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. With a focus on collaboration and teamwork, our facility promotes an engaging work culture where professional development is encouraged. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to recognize their goals and needs, crafting tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns.
• Maintain a standardized patient load of one individual per hour to ensure attentive, quality care and hands-on support.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that focus on improving patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Utilize a diverse array of treatment techniques, from manual therapy to exercise regimens, to foster effective rehabilitation outcomes.
• Encourage active participation from patients throughout their treatment, motivating them to reach their optimal functional state.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress thoroughly in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Evaluate treatment efficacy regularly and adjust care plans as needed based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, sharing insights for holistic recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Pro Movement Physical Therapy Services, our primary patient population consists of individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized, tailored treatment without the constraints often present in larger healthcare systems. We pride ourselves on working with patients across various demographics, primarily those seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a high standard of clinical knowledge and practice.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in California, with no prior board or disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software (preferably WebPT) to ensure seamless patient documentation and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, demonstrating understanding and expertise in this specialized area.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
