Work Environment

Our outpatient office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and is characterized by a friendly and dynamic atmosphere among a small team of experts including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation tools to aid in delivering effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

As a licensed Physical Health Therapist at Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to establish patient objectives and treatment requirements in a healthcare setting.
• Efficiently managing an appropriate patient load, treating one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Designing and executing tailored fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient needs and preferences.
• Providing high-quality, evidence-based care while utilizing a broad spectrum of treatment techniques to enhance mobility and prevent further injury.
• Documenting all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately to maintain compliance and enhance continuity of care.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to optimize the patient care continuum.
• Regularly assessing the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjusting them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Promoting lifestyle changes that enhance patients' functional abilities, strength, flexibility, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions and surgeries. This demographic includes individuals seeking rehabilitation after sports-related injuries, post-operative care, and management of chronic pain conditions. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journey and helping them achieve personal goals related to mobility and function.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable, as our clinic specializes in this area. Experience with various patient demographics and conditions will enhance your ability to customize treatment plans effectively. Skills in developing and executing exercise regimens and knowledge of alternative treatment methods can set you apart in our hiring process.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
