Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will interact closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a pleasant work-life balance while you positively impact the lives of your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting, managing a caseload of 1 to 2 patients per hour, and ensuring focused, personalized therapy sessions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments and evidence-based practices to maximize recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapy techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to meet patients' specific needs and facilitate their progress.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and quality of care.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Conduct ongoing patient education sessions and develop home exercise programs to empower patients and their caregivers in maintaining their health outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient orthopedic clinic, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. This diverse patient population allows you to apply and expand your skill set while making significant contributions to their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is essential for this role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for fostering trusting relationships with patients and effectively collaborating with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a physical therapist, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with utilizing EMR systems for documentation and care coordination is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
