We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant outpatient clinic team in San Jose, California. Work Environment

Located in the heart of San Jose, our rehabilitation facility is designed to offer a welcoming atmosphere where comfort and healing come together. As part of our team, you will work shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and treatment responses to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to support rehabilitation goals.
• Intelligently manage a patient load of 1 to 2 patients per hour, ensuring quality attention and care to foster optimal recovery.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress notes, facilitating seamless communication within the care team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create and adjust holistic treatment plans that address both short-term recovery and long-term health goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers about therapeutic exercises and home care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative knee and hip replacement to those recovering from sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to cultivate positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
