Visitor Experience Coordinator – Onsite Location: Towson, MD – Experience & Innovation Center (XIC) Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized, service‑oriented Coordinator to support the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences at the XIC. The Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and well‑orchestrated environment. Responsibilities include hospitality services, visitor engagement, day‑of event execution, and overall facility readiness. Key Responsibilities Prepare the reception area and coordinate materials for each event. Manage check‑in process, assist with catering setup, refreshment stations, and post‑event reset. Maintain overall facility readiness—organize offices, common areas, and experience environments. Maintain hospitality stations: coffee bars, beverage & snack areas, kitchen spaces, shared environments. Own inventory and replenishment of hospitality, office, and facility supplies; coordinate with vendors, monitor product quality and expiration, and maintain storage. Provide administrative support: calendars, travel, expense reports, maintenance tickets, incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, Business, or related field (preferred). 1‑2+ years of experience in hospitality, concierge services, or customer experience within a corporate or high‑touch environment. Impeccable customer‑service values and a professional, welcoming demeanor. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of presentation, service, and confidentiality. Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift and move items up to ~25 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Salary & Benefits Salary range: $51,700 – $83,300 per year.
