Cognitive Performance Counselor

Trifecta Proven is recruiting for a Cognitive Performance Counselor (CPC) to provide services at the Portland Air National Guard Base, OR. CPC will work as part of the Human Performance Optimization Program with the 125th Special Tactics Squadron. The CPC will work as part of a team aiming to prepare service members physically and mentally so they are optimized for mission readiness and sustained peak performance, while minimizing injury and maximizing return-to-duty efficiency.

Hours: Monday thorugh Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. including a one hour lunch break.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals experiencing extreme physical training
• Work with National Guard operators to improve readiness and resilience
• Develop treatment plans and interventions to support clients in achieving their mental and physical health goals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose and address psychological health challenges while undergoing training
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for clients

Required Skills:

• At least two years of experience working with individuals undergoing extreme physical training
• Experience in mental health counseling and therapy
• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Psychologist or similar License
• Knowledge of behavioral health, substance abuse, and crisis intervention techniques
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans

Education:

• Masters Degree in Sports/Performance Psychology, Behavioral Health Psychology, Master of Social Work, Psychology or Professional Counslor

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $80,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $95,000.00
