Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiopulmonary Duration: Contract Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required in a similar setting License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with required drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Insulin, Lasix, and anti-arrhythmic medications. - Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic. - Willingness to float to other units as needed.
Description: This position involves providing care in a 31-bed unit with patient ratios of 4 to 5:1. The role requires administering various medications and managing multiple drips. The culture in this unit emphasizes teamwork, with travelers expected to function as core staff. All necessary demographic information must be provided prior to submission. Floating to other facilities may be required. It is essential to adhere to all documentation deadlines without exceptions. Maintaining a positive and collaborative environment is critical.
