Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, documenting all relevant information meticulously from the first consultation through the course of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs to inform tailored intervention strategies.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
\n
• Monitor client progress by maintaining detailed records and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to develop holistic intervention plans.
\n
• Track and manage referrals to additional services, tailoring the pathway to recovery for each client.
\n
• Identify and address potential barriers to recovery, employing proactive strategies to mitigate challenges.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers dealing with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. You will play an essential role in helping clients navigate their unique experiences and provide them with tools and strategies to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience directly providing mental health counseling services.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to document client interactions and treatment plans.
\n
• A solid understanding of the interplay between physical health, emotional health, and addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on empathetic interactions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a remote counseling role, adjusting to the unique challenges of online therapy.
\n
• Background in multi-disciplinary team settings, collaborating effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
\n
• Understanding of psychotropic medications, including their effects and implications for mental health treatment.
\n
• Previous work with specialized populations, including youth in crisis or individuals managing dual diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus.
